"Order processing was painfully slow"
I placed my order while I was sitting at home on a Sunday night, thinking it would at least start moving within a reasonable amount of time, but it just sat there in processing forever. I kept checking the updates here and there, like during lunch and before bed, and nothing really changed. Maybe they were backed up or dealing with a busy week, but there was no clear timeline or explanation, which made it frustrating. Not the best first experience, and I don’t think I’d order from them again

"Condition was a bit rougher than expected"

"I felt like the prices were way..."
I felt like the prices were way too high for used gear. I was expecting a decent deal, but it just felt like I was overpaying. To make it worse, the stuff kind of works when it wants to, so it’s hard to feel good about the purchase.

"Return process was way too complicated"
I didn’t think returning my order would be such a whole thing, but it ended up being way more annoying than expected. The instructions weren’t very clear, and I kept clicking around trying to figure out what I was supposed to do next. Like, why is this so complicated?
For a site selling expensive bike gear, I really thought the return process would be smooth and straightforward. Instead it felt slow, confusing, and more of a hassle than it needed to be. Definitely not a great experience...

"Bike arrived dirty, and the standards kept shifting"
When my bike showed up, it had dust on it, greasy fingerprints, and grime around the drivetrain. Not exactly what I expected after paying this much. What made it more frustrating was that it felt like the goalposts kept moving, first I was told it was normal from shipping, then it was more like I should’ve expected to clean it up myself. I get that bikes aren’t always spotless, but this was a disappointing first impression.

"Looks good, but the tune was off"
The bike showed up looking great, but the tune definitely wasn’t dialed in. On my first ride the gears were skipping and the brakes were rubbing a little, which was frustrating after spending that much. I ended up taking it to my local shop to get it sorted out. Also, the constant reminder messages were way too aggressive and got annoying fast

I thought selling here would be straightforward, but it ended up being more of a hassle than I expected. I found what seemed like a decent deal on the part I needed, but once the shipping was added, it kind of stopped feeling worth it. The site itself was easy enough to use, so I don’t really have complaints there. I’m not saying I’d never order again, but I’m sure I’d only come back if the shipping cost was lower

The bike arrived damaged and missing parts, which was already frustrating enough. Then I reached out for help and got basically nothing useful back from the so-called support geniuses. Just a whole lot of runaround and zero actual solutions...

"Bike wasn't as described"
I was disappointed with the bike when it arrived. The listing made it sound like it was in great shape, but there were way more scratches and worn parts than the photos showed, and the brakes definitely needed work. What made it more frustrating was that there was basically no human contact through the whole process, so it felt like there was nobody to actually talk to about it. Overall, the description just didn’t feel honest

I bought a used bike part because the photos made it look clean, with just a few tiny marks that didn’t seem like a big deal.

When it showed up, though, there were scratches and wear that I definitely didn’t notice in the listing. It kinda felt like the photos were taken from angles that avoided showing the rougher spots.

Customer service was okay, nothing terrible, but I probably wouldn’t have bought it if the pictures had been more upfront. Frustrating for a site selling used gear

"Warranty didn’t help when I needed it"
I bought from The Pro’s Closet mostly because I figured the warranty would give me a little peace of mind. When something actually went wrong, though, it felt like every part of my situation somehow landed in the “not covered” category. I still remember sitting at my kitchen table reading the fine print while my dog kept barking at a single sock on the floor, which about matched the mood.
Customer service did respond, and they were polite enough, but it didn’t really solve anything. In the end I felt stuck dealing with the issue myself and spending more money than I expected. Maybe I should’ve studied every detail beforehand, but the warranty just didn’t end up being useful for me.

I was surprised when these showed up. The brake pads were basically shot, which looked nothing like the photos in the listing?! Definitely not the condition I was expecting.
